Kitchen renovation, major structural works and project management, Menston, Leeds

The project was extremely complicated, as a major structural wall had to be removed.

To achieve the customer’s request of a flat ceiling in the new living area, TJ Pybus created a bespoke solution that involved removing a concrete floor above the kitchen and inserting structural steel into the void, where it would provide the necessary support yet would be completely hidden.

The renovation included new electrics and was fully plastered and tiled, using 62sq m of floor tiles. TJ Pybus also managed the kitchen company on behalf of the client, ensuring every aspect of the installation went smoothly.

This project is also being put forward for a 2009 FMB Award by the client.
