Large renovation and stone extension, Hathenshaw Farm, Denton

The owners of this large cottage wanted to renovate the outside of the property and extend the garage to turn it into liveable accommodation.

With design by Think Design, the extensive work carried out by TJ Pybus involved full strip out of the garage and the addition of new windows and doors in traditional style, high quality oak.

The cottage itself was upgraded to modern heating, electrical and insulation requirements, while a new bathroom and kitchen were fully fitted, decorated and finished to incorporate many of the property’s original features, including oak beams and stone walls.

The existing materials were matched as closely as possible to achieve a beautiful and sympathetic conversion that was finished on time and within budget.

The client was so delighted with the work that they have put forward TJ Pybus Construction for a 2009 FMB Award.
